Devon Holiday Cottages: Which one?

Your holiday has been planned for a long time and you’re looking forward to taking that well-deserved summer break. Due to its increasing popularity, you’ve decided to go to Devon for a while and see what all the fuss is about. All that is left for you to do is to book one of the many ideal Devon holiday cottages for you to stay in.

The first port of call is, of course, the internet. There are many agencies advertising holiday cottages that you need to start at the top and work your way down the list. This isn’t easy because each cottage that you see is appealing and beautiful.

On the listing page, a number of cottages are listed - each one is accompanied by a photograph. This is important because ultimately you want to see what you’re getting before you arrive there.

Once you click on the picture, another page opens with more information on the cottage. The narrative accompanying the photos tells you what the cottage has to offer, its location and nearby visitor’s attractions. It may even give you the distance to the nearest pub. You are also informed whether the cottage is pet-friendly or not.

Then it continues by telling you what the booking entails. Firstly it confirms whether the cottage is self-catering or B & B or anything else. This is important as it will help determine the price. The booking form will also show availability of the cottage and indicate the change-over days (e.g. Friday or Saturday). Then it will have a space for you to fill in the information regarding how many adults, children etc. will be staying and lastly for how long will you be staying.

Having done all that, you have now booked your holiday.
